Why Nvidia's Jensen Huang refuses to talk about market share 🤔

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says the concept of “market share” has no place in his company’s culture.

At the 2023 Sana AI Summit, Huang explained:

“Why are you fighting people for market share? If others are doing the same thing, why are we doing it?”

Instead of chasing volume,  Nvidia focuses on solving problems others haven’t touched — from GPUs in the ‘90s to today’s AI chips.

His mindset:
- Don’t waste talent on commodity work
- Walk away from copycat ideas
- Focus on original innovation = real impact

That’s how Huang believes you create the conditions for people to do their life’s work.
