Some update on Hon Hai (Foxconn), GB300 and $NVDA.

Taiwan's OEM/ODM Hon Hai has reportedly secured orders from $CRWV and is preparing shipments—likely in Q4 2025—for $NVDA's GB300 (Blackwell Ultra).

The Q4 timeline of shipment should apply to most OEMs although specific date and ramp up speed are likely varied. Q4 initial shipment so far has reported less concerns but Q1 2026 remain uncertain.

The company has also reportedly expanded its production capacity in the U.S. through an additional $XXX million investment in its subsidiary (author's understand is this is reported in March 2025)— Ingrasys Technology, expanding AI server production capacity in Houston amid rising demand. This is IN FACT Hon Hai's SECOND additional investment in U.S. this year, following a $XXX million injection for Houston production capacity expansion in January, also made through Ingrasys.

To quickly recap, reports last week indicated that the company plans to begin production of the GB300 and deploy humanoid robots at the Houston site next year.

Hon Hai is known for its global footprint in electronics assembly, spanning from consumer electronics to AI servers. Its manufacturing presence covers the U.S., Mexico, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Czech, India, Hungary, Slovakia.

For AI servers in specific, Hon Hai's production are still mainly concentrate in China, with increased production in bases such as Mexico and U.S. (Houston in particular).

Other production base for AI server are located in Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and Europe. This broad network should provide Hon Hai with great flexibility in producing and shipping AI servers amid the upcoming regulatory adjustments affecting AI chips and server shipments, especially concerning the transshipment issue on Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore., as well as the ongoing change in U.S. tariffs.

Additionally, one potential upside is that customers may increasingly place AI server orders through Hon Hai’s facilities located outside of China and Southeast Asia (especially in U.S and Mexico) to avoid geopolitical uncertainties amid increased production capacity and compute demand —this reflect on Hon Hai's decision in doubling down investment in factories in both places (US + MEX).
