The doom and gloom forecast of the university economists and PhDs employed in investment and finance was that the US was headed for a downward, if not recessionary, spiral. None of their predictions came true as the supposed stock market crash sets record highs almost weekly. Plainly, their views are based on politics and not unbiased economics!
