Israeli publication Haaretz reported that the US military used XX THAAD interceptors in XX days to defend Israel, revising previous cost estimates from $XXX million to about $XXX billion.

With an annual production rate of about 36-48 THAAD interceptors, the US used up nearly two years' worth of the missiles during the war.
