It is this very concept that has thoroughly upset me and keeps me up at night. There are humans in this world who cannot conceptualize that other cultures exist. Usually, we see this in the form of DEI losers, but this is some jackoff in the wild. People write the stories they want to. They dont have to be “for everyone” and this concept of “for everyone” stems from the most narcissistic of our species. You have to be a special kind of stupid to not realize that the world doesnt revolve around the proverbial “you”. There exists a manga for everyone, and one manga does not have to be for everyone. Those who think like this, who believe in “globalization” are the bottom of the barrel of the species that in a perfect world, simply wouldnt exist. This line of thinking in a truly enlightened society just simply wouldnt be. But it is, and it is because we allow stupid people to breed. So now we have to share a world with those who would dare impose their censorious bullshit all because they dont understand the concept of “look away”. Rape. Racism. Violence. Slavery. God forbid, attractive women. Class injustice. Gender injustice. Any number of “problematic tropes”. Challenging religion. War. Genocide. Mass poverty. All of it is fair game in fiction to move plot, to tell a story, to paint evil as evil, to fantasize, to give the hero a journey. But we cant have that anymore because people like wizhql exist. They want to sanitize creativity because why use a word like bad when good exists. I wish we had the power TDS people claimed anyone who isnt XXX% with “them” have, because i would snip the balls and tie the tubes of every single person who shows favor for censorship in fiction and ship them off to their own paradise to argue about who gets to decide where the line in the sand is for their censorship. But instead all i can do is just talk about the powers that be, and hope to the programmers on high that someone cares. If someone does, cool. If not, also cool.
