It is hard to express the level of devastation, the pictures don’t do justice to the scale of it. The biggest takeaway of the night is how scattered the comms were. It was the biggest complaint everyone had. Most were handed “high tech” radios that didn’t work, and there is little to no cell signal anywhere. If you’re planning to come out and help, my biggest piece of advice is to have reliable short-wave communications and of course bring more supplies than you need for just yourself. It’s bad here, lots dead and plenty more missing, so keep prayers coming and I’ll post where to help as soon as it’s clear what the best way to do so is.
