I never root for any company to fail. I hope $ASTS succeeds in their mission and becomes an amazingly successful company. That said, it worries me that so many big accounts, conspicuously with 🅰️ in their names, promote the crap out of this company with insane speculations… One example shown below is these accounts speculating that Jeff Bezos or Amazon might buy ASTS for $XX billion, a XXX% premium for a business that has no revenue and is completely unproven. They also viciously attack anyone who tries to be a voice of reason about $ASTS. Some of these guys are admittedly day traders and meme investors based on their profile descriptions. It worries me that so many normal retail investors are in this company, which if all the chips don’t fall perfectly into place, could lose a significant portion of its value relatively quickly, especially as the meme people move on. I never short stocks.
I never root for any company to fail.
I hope $ASTS succeeds in their mission and becomes an amazingly successful company.
