When NYC’s first Bitcoin ATM launched on August 21, 2014, 

I put in $XXXXX.

It spat out a receipt with some random numbers on it.

I expected an actual coin to come out.

Thought I got scammed. Walked away. Never looked back.

That day, BTC closed at $XXXXXX.

Today, that $XXXXX would be worth $XXXXXXX.

Sidelined... forever.
