Escaping the Trap of More

A few months ago, despite being in the top 0.5%, I was consumed by anxiety, comparing my net worth to people like Cristiano Ronaldo or Dubai sheikhs. I’ve always been fiercely competitive, and society, especially in the U.S. tells you that’s a strength. But in reality, it can be a sickness.

Spending the past month in Asia, doing simple things and connecting with real people, helped me reconnect with what actually matters. No luxury, no flexing, just being. Still, I know if I returned to Dubai, that part of me might resurface.

There will always be someone richer, better looking, more successful. The real challenge is learning to appreciate your own life. You are already incredibly blessed, many of you just haven’t paused long enough to feel it.
