Charts show trends and patterns with targets. They work a surprising amount of the time, especially when there are breakouts above previous patterns. Change in sentiment. Take a look at the posts today, pretty interesting. As an example, look at $SMCI posted below. When it breaks above the trendline, a breakout occurs. Volume shelves also are significant.
