I was on "City of Heroes" when they took down the last server.    If the game requires a server, and is not peer-to-peer, how do they expect preservation to happen?
It would be nice if companies dumped source code for it out on github, but how much of it is proprietary?

It's not an easy problem that can be solved overnight like some folks think.
