EA Sports is officially bringing back its college basketball video game.

EA Sports used to make college hoops games up until NCAA Basketball 10, and haven't made one since. 

But with college football having so much success, it's no surprise they're looking to the hardwood.

EA Sports stopped making its college football games in 2014, and XX years later, released College Football XX.

College Football XX went on to be the 2nd best-selling video game in the US in 2024, and the best-selling sports video game in history (per Sports Business Journal). 

EA Sports announced the return of its college hoops game in a tweet on Monday. And Matt Brown's Extra Points newsletter noted EA Sports plans to release the game in 2028.

So hang tight - because in a few years, we WILL be getting a college basketball video game once again.
