STARBOARD BUILDS X% STAKE IN $TRIP

Activist investor Starboard Value has taken a stake of over X% in Tripadvisor, worth around $160M, making it one of the company’s top shareholders, per WSJ. Tripadvisor shares are down XX% this past year to a ~$1.8B market cap after rejecting takeover offers as high as $30/share in early 2024. Starboard’s plans for TRIP remain unclear.
