🇺🇸🇨🇳 SIEMENS CLEARED TO SELL CHIP DESIGN SOFTWARE TO CHINA AS TRADE DEAL TAKES HOLD

Siemens says the US has lifted export restrictions on semiconductor design software, restoring full access for Chinese customers. 

The change follows a sweeping trade deal that dropped tariffs as high as XXX percent and may signal a thaw in tech tensions. 

Siemens EDA, along with Synopsys and Cadence, dominate the global chip design software space and control XX% of China’s market. 

The shift could grease the wheels for stalled deals like the $35B Synopsys-Ansys merger still held up by Beijing.
