Paramount Global and CBS agreed on Tuesday to pay President Trump upwards of $30M to settle the President's election interference lawsuit against them. He will receive $16M upfront to cover legal fees, the cost of the case, and contributions to his presidential library. CBS has also agreed to update its editorial standards, and going forward will promptly release unedited unedited transcripts of future presidential candidates' interviews. This is being referred to as the "Trump Rule."
