🇺🇸 PALMER LUCKEY, PETER THIEL, AND JOE LONSDALE BACK NEW TECH BANK EREBOR

Palmer Luckey, Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund, and Joe Lonsdale are launching Erebor, a fully digital U.S. bank aimed at startups and crypto firms underserved by traditional banks. 

Named after Tolkien’s treasure filled mountain, Erebor has filed for a national bank charter and will focus on AI, defense, stablecoins, and advanced manufacturing. 

It aims to be the most regulated player in digital currency banking. 

The bank will be led by Jacob Hirshman, Owen Rapaport, and Mike Hagedorn, with headquarters in Ohio and digital only services.
