Magic Eden has announced support for $USDB - a new stablecoin that will launch natively on Bitcoin.  
It’ll be integrated across all Magic Eden products.  

Everyone's launching a stablecoin these days.  
The twist with USDB?  
It's built on Bitcoin - not Ethereum, not Solana.

But do we really need a “stable” asset on Bitcoin - one that steadily loses value along with the US dollar?

Bitcoiners already have access to a different kind of stability - one where value tends to grow over time.
 
It’s not the first attempt either.  
Even Tether launched $USDT on Bitcoin - and later abandoned it due to lack of demand.

Still, a native stablecoin might help onboard new users who are unfamiliar with Bitcoin.  
That could be a win.

But you don’t need a brand-new stablecoin to get into Bitcoin.
