On Friday, we opened a long position in CIENA CORP ( $CIEN ) at XXXXX with a $XXX price target. Their Networking Platforms division generated roughly $XXX million, representing about XX% of total revenue ($1.13 billion). This segment experienced a notable XX% year-over-year sales increase, driven by demand for optical products, including the 6500 Reconfigurable Line Systems (RLS) and coherent pluggable modules. The growth was fueled by increased spending from cloud providers, AI infrastructure, and service providers.
