$ATAI LIFE SCIENCES and Beckley Psytech just reported strong Phase 2b results for their depression treatment BPL-003. Both 8mg and 12mg single doses showed statistically significant reductions in depressive symptoms compared to control, with effects visible within a day and lasting up to X weeks. The 8mg dose will move to Phase X after consultation with the FDA. XX% of side effects were mild or moderate and most patients were ready for discharge within XX minutes, suggesting potential use within existing in-clinic models like Spravato. This trial included XXX patients, the largest controlled mebufotenin study to date.
