LS PREVIEW Eurozone Inflation Poised For Slight Increase; Germany, Italy Report Slowdowns 

The rate of headline consumer price growth in the euro area is forecast to edge higher to match the level preferred by the European Central Bank, but Monday’s reports from two major economies could mute the expected rise.

An economists’ poll predicted that the annual Eurozone headline inflation rate climbed to XXX% in June, a tenth higher than in the previous month. That would equal the ECB’s target of X% over the medium term.

The less-volatile core rate is set hold at XXX% y/y, observers said.
