My biggest contra argument here is that it would require a deep emphasis in Europe to taking control of one’s own destiny (defined contribution plan) rather than relying on a state driven pension (defined benefit)…. On the other hand, government (passive) mandates on private investments does seem like a very European aceptable thing.
