🧵 1/10 #OTD in 2009: Yemenia Flight 626, an A310, crashes off Comoros islands. Of XXX aboard, only X survivor. Control was lost during approach, plane impacted sea. Investigators stated jet was put in an irrecoverable stall by crew´s “inappropriate actions”, who did not react to alerts.
