how has being poor benefited anyone?

jay z may not be doing anything beneficial to the black community with his wealth (idk) but that doesn’t change the fact that to make a change in this country (or any country) politically you need financial leverage (etc) and many people refuse to participate in the systems that give them such, therefore their movements struggle to come to life or stay alive, and their beliefs are never implemented.
