Will Gordon missed about five months last season with inflamed vertebrae in his cervicothoracic junction, plus ulnar nerve tension down to his elbows.

Returned in July, but wasn't XXX% until October.

Started this year on major medical, has missed X of XX cuts this year, but also has two top-10s and needed less than a point – a made cut at Rocket – to keep conditional status through this fall.

He just birdied his last two holes Friday to make the cut on the number – and keep his job for a few more months. At No. XXX in points entering this week, he still has a great shot at getting inside that top XXX after the fall.
