Anchorage Digital announced it will phase out support for USDC, AUSD, and USD0, citing regulatory and reserve management concerns identified in its Stablecoin Safety Matrix. The firm advised institutional clients to convert to USDG, a stablecoin backed by a consortium in which Anchorage is a founding member, prompting strong industry backlash.
