The time most of you have been eagerly waiting for has finally arrived — the full release of our main game, SpaceCatch AR, is coming on July 1st! ⭐ SpaceCatch AR – Intro Last year, we worked tirelessly on the game. We kept adding new features, mechanics, and ideas — everything according to the original vision. The devlogs showcased something new every week: crafting, NPC squad management, an extensive storyline, shelter building, idle minigames... Then came the playtests with real players — first in the Philippines, later in Prague. And the results were eye-opening — many things we thought were great ideas simply didn’t work. Some mechanics were too complex, some players didn’t understand, and some features weren’t used at all. So we made a difficult but necessary decision. We simplified the game and focused only on what’s truly fun and works — combat, invasion system, and core RPG progression. After the winter testing phase, we significantly cleaned up and fine-tuned SpaceCatch AR — and we finally have a version that we’re confident to release to the public. During Q2, we ran several waves of testing, and the feedback kept improving, reinforcing our belief that we’re on the right track. 📅 Launch Plan ▫️ July X – Wave X – Early access open via waitlist & Devlog ▫️ During July – Regular weekly patches & devlogs, Content unlocks (new aliens), Balancing crypto economics, reward amounts ▫️ July XX – Global access opened (waitlist removed) ▫️ August - Web2 players onboarding + content updates ▫️ September - Web3 status checkin & focus, Web3 features update We’re launching SpaceCatch AR with a fractional rollout via waitlist, starting July 1st. The game is finished and fully playable — but instead of dropping everyone in at once, we’re opting for a continuous rollout model that gives us the flexibility to: This phased approach lets us stay in full control of tokenomics, gameplay, and progression, while still opening the gates for players to jump in and start playing. 🏁 How to access waitlist? We will be sharing a form that interested players can fill out, and based on the responses, we will grant access accordingly. Priority will be given to active community members, with preference based on which Discord roles you hold. More details will be announced in a separate update. CATCH Token Catalysts We’ll launch Web3 marketing only once the market conditions are favorable — currently, there is a noticeable lack of buyers in the space. In the meantime, there’s a strong catalyst coming for holders and interested $CATCH token users. In the coming weeks, we’ll be launching an airdrop campaign on the FatBot platform, based on trading volume. Currently, $CATCH is the only token on that platform with X% trading fees, which we expect will lead airdrop hunters and traders to focus their activity on $CATCH to minimize their entry costs. As trading demand and volume grow, the token’s value is expected to rise. 🌐 Future plans Just like SpaceCatch Classic, SpaceCatch AR will continue to evolve, with new features being regularly added to the game. Our long-term goal is to create a global hybrid game for both Web2 and Web3 audiences, where we bridge these two very different gaming worlds and build a friendly environment for both types of players and investors. One of the major milestones in Q3 will be the implementation of CATCHX — the new in-game currency, which you’ll be able to purchase using either CATCH tokens or fiat. CATCHX will be supported in both of our games, and you’ll be able to freely transfer it between your SCC and SC AR accounts. Last year, we worked tirelessly on the game. We kept adding new features, mechanics, and ideas — everything according to the original vision. The devlogs showcased something new every week: crafting, NPC squad management, an extensive storyline, shelter building, idle minigames...
