Sometimes in Tokyo I feel nostalgic longing thinking what it must be like to normal Japanese working late in office. Then frend remind me it’s probably a bad existence, better than normalphag in West but still. But then you take a step back and remember Japan was always pyramid. In unusual izakaya I see mans in strange suit, small mustache, weary nonchalant look on face and beauty gril in dark red dress next to him. Some kind of gangster or artiste idk…not a spreadsheet guy. But people like him, or otherwise samurai, nobility etc were superminority too before. It’s more correct to say these are marginalized compared to before and now the spreadsheet workers have it far too good.
