#Copper’s 3-mth high drove $AAL.L +7%, $ANTO.L +5.6%, $GLEN.L +5% & $RIO.L +3.5%. Crude strength pushed $SHEL.L +0.7% and $BP.L +1.6%, though $SHEL.L denied reports it’s eyeing a $BP.L takeover.
Geopolitical relief from Israel-Iran ceasefire supported sentiment. Meanwhile, WSJ reported President Trump may name a “shadow” Fed Chair soon to steer toward a dovish path.
US GDP 1Q25 revised down (-0.5% vs -XXX% exp). Megacaps mostly up: $NVDA +0.89%, $GOOG +1.31%, $MSFT +0.40%, $AMZN +1.89%, $META +2.19%, but $AAPL slipped -0.67%.
