Launched in 2016 the Ledger Nano S was officially retired in 2022, and we’ve been gradually phasing out its support since. That doesn’t mean it’s bricked — it still lets you send, receive, buy, sell and access your assets. But due to its technical limitations, it no longer receives the latest features or upgrades — including recent improvements to usability and security. This isn’t new: for some time now, the Nano S hasn’t supported the most recent updates or innovations. ✅Your 24-word recovery phrase = your wallet ✅ You can restore it anytime on a new Ledger or any BIP39-compatible wallet 🚫No lock-in. No forced upgrade. Just a natural evolution as tech and security standards move forward.
