> openai plans to convert into a for-profit company to raise capital and future IPO
> but needs microsoft’s approval 
> microsoft has IP rights to all oai models until 2030 and XX % revenue share
> oai wants to waive this AGI clause to end microsoft’s IP rights and swap XX% revenue share with royalty + equity
> microsoft is not happy with the new offer 
> openai is considering a “nuclear option” of accusing Microsoft of anti-competitive behavior
