Last night Kate Peter, who is working with Zora from Netflix, the Norfolk County DA's Office, and the State Police, issued a series of racist tweets directed at the foreman of the Karen Read jury. She called him an "Uncle Tom" - a racial slur meant to demean black people who are perceived as not sufficiently black.

After receiving massive blowback she deleted the tweet and attempted to word salad her way out of it, but only continued to say more racist things.

She said she was tempted to call him a "race traitor" but decided not to because she doesn't know what social class he's in.

She accused him of "overt subservience to the upper echelon of white America" for articulating on television why he believes Karen Read is innocent, and why a more thorough investigation into John O'Keefe's death is needed.

She accused the foreman of "riding hard for white privilege" because he thought that a white cop's house should've been searched after a dead white cop was found on his lawn. As a black man he knows that he wouldn't receive this same privilege if it was his lawn.

She seems to find it unacceptable that a "fucking immigrant and a black community worker" reached a different conclusion that she, as a white woman, reached on the Karen Read trial.

She claims he's not black enough because she hasn't seen him on TV advocating for black kids in Boston, which is not something the news would cover even if he did.

Finally, she explained that it was OK for her to call him an Uncle Tom because she, as a white woman, determined that this historically racist slur is not in fact racist.

Kate Peter is what she is. We all know that. But any decent person who associates with this sort of racism is just as bad as she is.
