As semiconductor wars intensify between the US, China, and India, @LnTTechservices (LTSCT), a wholly owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, is quietly scripting India’s most ambitious semiconductor story yet. Launched in 2023, LTSCT isn’t just chasing fabs it’s building full-stack chip products to rival giants like @nvidia , @ST_World , and @MediaTek .

“India needs to build product companies, not just factories,” says Sandeep Kumar of LTSCT, who’s been nurturing this vision since 2020. With ₹830 crore in capital, 50+ global customers, and an early focus on MEMS sensors, power ICs, and silicon carbide components, LTSCT is betting on a fabless model first—just like @Qualcomm and NVIDIA.

While India pushes for manufacturing might, Kumar warns against rushing into fabs without demand. “An empty fab kills the margins,” he explains. Instead, LTSCT will build a fab only after hitting $X billion in revenue, targeted within five years. Fab construction, he hints, could begin by year four right when demand justifies it.

With India’s first 3nm design centres announced by @RenesasGlobal in Noida and Bengaluru, and big names like @TataCompanies and @Vedanta_Group entering the fray, LTSCT is making its mark not just as another fab dreamer but as India’s first true semiconductor product company. “We’re not competing with factories in China. We’re competing with the chips themselves.”
