i don’t know this jessy guy, he might be a really high value superstar employee, but this is a rare glimpse into what happens when venture grifters like a16z pour unholy amounts of cash with crazy inflated valuations into a bullshit narrative with zero product market fit

that type of cash literally buys an army of people that need to prove they can add value, and inadvertently help mask that no one actually needs or wants this

i mean of course theres a lot of help from a secondary circle of investors that exclusively invest in “restaking projects” injecting more money to get more people to build stuff that uses tech they don’t need or want (if you invest in it, they will come)

eventually the jig will be up, because you can only incentivize fake usage for a while before everyone realizes, but hopefully that only happens after all the venture grifters got to dump their bags on retail

but it’s fascinating to actually see how the sausage gets made
