As we just summarized on @PowerLunch here's pretty much the state of energy 'discussion' in America:

Nuclear?   Too dangerous!  Too expensive!

Wind?  No one wants to look at that near their home.  Oh, and they only last XX years!

Solar?   Panels made with forced labor in China!

Nat gas?  Fossil fuels pollute!

Coal?  Bro .. are you kidding?

Meantime ... everyone wants to live where its warm and crank the AC all day.   Oh, and data centers ... 

Energy is hard.
