🌈 Meet our #RealPeopleofClariant Darwin Calero, Cluster Manager in Poland. Darwin’s story is one of resilience, growth, and the courage to live authentically. Growing up in a large, religious family, he often felt different – a feeling that was met with misunderstanding and judgment from those around him.
 
🗨️"𝘐 𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘣𝘪𝘨 𝘣𝘶𝘣𝘣𝘭𝘦… 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭. 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘶𝘯𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘺."

For many years, Darwin tried to follow the path expected of him, but his true self kept calling out. When he moved to Poland in 2016, he finally found the freedom to reconnect with himself. Surrounded by friends who felt like family, he discovered what it meant to live with joy, pride, and no fear of judgment. Today, Darwin feels confident and regarding his experience at Clariant, he shares:

This sense of safety and acceptance is especially meaningful for Darwin, considering the challenges he faced growing up.

Darwin now uses his voice to advocate for inclusion, visibility, and respect for all. He keeps hope alive by surrounding himself with love, learning from others, and finding joy in everyday passions – from travel to sports. He concludes by saying:
