Hon. Joseph Ntakirutimana, and attended by EALA Members of Parliament from Partner States. The theme of this year's budget is "Inclusive economic transformation through domestic resource mobilisation and resilient strategic investment for job creation and improved livelihoods." Despite the current global challenges, including geo-political tensions, climate change, and shifts in international aid, the EAC economies demonstrated resilience, achieving a growth rate of XXX% in 2024, as compared to XXX% in 2023. Projections indicate a sustained growth trajectory of 5.8%, driven by robust performance in agriculture, construction, and services sectors, supported by sound policies and macro-economic stability. The President of the East African Court of Justice (EACJ) Justice Nestor Kayobera, Deputy Secretary General for Customs, Trade and Monetary Affairs Ms Annette Ssemuwemba Mutaawe and Senior Secretariat staff were present.
