In 2001, electrician Konstantin Petrov took photos of the empty interior of the WTC shortly before 9/11. He left the building at 8:30 AM that morning, narrowly escaping the tragedy. A year later, he died in a motorcycle accident, but his photos remain a glimpse into the towers before their destruction.
