WATCH: Several teachers braved a swollen river in Sitio Banlas, Barangay Kihan, Malapatan, Sarangani, as they tried to get home from Akbual Elementary School in Upper Suyan.

According to Teacher Jailene Tusan, who uploaded the video, concerned residents stepped in to help them cross the strong current. The area has no bridge, forcing them to take the risk.

Despite the danger, the teachers pushed on, determined to return home safely.
