Back during WoW, NC Soft tried to poach some of our key guys, offering 500k in signing bonuses and 250k for each person they could bring along with them.

Everyone said no, and we shipped.

I’m not surprised at these amounts for AI recruits, as you can’t afford to lose the super intelligence race. The losers will no longer be viable tech giants, but fade into non existence.

To them it’s life or death.
