At Spa-Francorchamps, Juan Manuel Fangio drove his works Maserati to victory at the Belgian Grand Prix. Maurice finished 2nd for Ferrari, Stirling Moss 3rd in a privateer Maserati. Trintignant & Moss achieving their first podium finishes.
