$WOLF Wolfspeed Inc. will be taken over by creditors, including Apollo Global Management Inc., under a proposal that would put it into bankruptcy to slash billions in debt.

The company will soon announce a deal with lenders for a prepackaged bankruptcy, which would allow it to speed through a Chapter XX bankruptcy quickly and cheaply.

In an unusual move, shareholders could recover as much as X% in the proposed scenario, whereas typically they are wiped out in bankruptcy. (BBG)
