Strengthening Industrial Innovation: Meeting with Epiroc – a Swedish manufacturer of mining & infrastructure equipment

In Stockholm, Sweden, met with Mr. Arun Kumar, who heads Epiroc's India operations, to explore future investment opportunities in Karnataka. He shared Epiroc’s vision and expansion roadmap, highlighting India as a key growth market and Karnataka as a potential hub for their upcoming investments.

Epiroc currently operates a major R&D centre in Bengaluru, with 500+ employees contributing to XX% of its global R&D efforts. The company has planned capital investments of ₹500 crore this year and ₹1,000 crore by 2030.

The delegation encouraged Epiroc to consider setting up manufacturing operations in Karnataka, building on its strong existing R&D footprint.
