⛳️ US open final analysis

Congratulations to JJ Spaun for a well deserved and well earned victory on the major that prides itself on identifying the best golfers in the world such as Gary Woodland in 2019, Matt Fitzpatrick in 2022 & Wyndamn Clark in 2023 who we have never heard from again on a major weekend since.

I’m going to take this time to personally gloat about something I have heard non stop since I started following golf in 2008 & I have strongly disagreed with, yet most golf fans believe it because they follow it like sheep

I personally LOVED this because I have heard non stop how there is almost nothing worse* in golf than the PGA Championship which is supposedly a “dartboard of a 3M open that is called a major” while those very same people can’t stop praising the US open

Also I got to thank Justin Thomas for saving the PGA Championship from having a winner such as Mito Pereira in 2022, tho from a few people I’ve heard that “it’s time for JT to win a ‘real major’” since obviously the PGA isn’t one according to them.

Since 2017 the PGA has had X GREAT champions in X tournaments and the US open has X of them in 7* years & those X winners are by X players Brooks Koepka & Bryson DeChambeau who each won X of them & also soil themselves by doing very well at the PGA championship which as we know isn’t worthy of even being a 3M open level tournament

Also the X greatest players since Tiger won their 1st major at a US open, Rory McIlroy at Congressional in 2011 & Brooks Koepka at Erin Hills in 2017 at XX under, and of course they have followed it up with tight wins at the despicable PGA championship in following years.

*I wrote “almost nothing” because there is actually something that may be worse and that is when the USGA “defiles itself” & holds the US open in Torrey Pines which only have produced X of the more iconic recent US opens, but all the golf media and fans who are so brainwashed can’t think for themselves and think everything they are told

Bottom line is I want the golf majors to “identify the best golfers” and test them, the score isn’t as important as much as it separates them

The PGA championship manages to do it year after year whatever it’s super tough scoring like in 2023 where you have very few guys go low and it Koepka winning it & right after Hovland & Scheffler & in the top XX Bryson, Rory, Justin Rose, Cam Smith (back when he used to be a great golfer) or in 2024 when it was a “dartboard” at Valhalla where you had Xander win it over Bryson (that guy who is the only GREAT golfer who won US opens since Koepka in 2019) than Hovland at 3rd & then you had Morikawa, Scottie, JT, Rory etc in the top XX to this year at Quail Hollow where you had the clear best player in Scottie Scheffler separate and the X guys closest were Bryson & Rahm (Rahm being the guy who won that AWFUL 2021 US open at Torrey Pines where he held off Brooks Koepka, Rory McIlroy, pre majors Scottie & Xander etc. remember it’s an awful one because the USGA lowered themselves to use Torrey Pines).

BTW the PGA championship was on average harder for about a X year stretch than the US open, but all you’ll hear about is the “dart feast at Valhalla” by sheeple who can’t think for themselves

But once again the USGA isn’t as interested as identifying the best golfers as much as they are making it the biggest obstacle course imaginable & more resemble a pin ball machine where it’s more about luck than anything at times rather than reward great play because they are so stuck in their arrogance

Also I love the fact that the snotty membership at Oakmont will invite JJ Spaun into their club & he defiled their precious club by shooting under par which was to them to be avoided at all costs.
