I really wanted to be bullish on $SHFL because it checks multiple investing criteria:

☑︎ Clear, proven PMF (24/7 casino)
☑︎ Value accrual directly to token holders (via lottery)
☑︎ Smart & hungry founders

But, I checked tokenomics & unlocks:
After analysing withdrawals from @shufflecom, it seems the team is willing to stake their vested $SHFL into the Lottery instead of dumping.

This sends a strong signal, but is it bullish $SHFL? I'm not sure. It could initiate a vicious circle:

Team stakes $SHFL in Lottery → Lower lottery APR → Retail sells → Fewer WAUs as the Lottery is the core element of Shuffle → Lower fees & lottery APR...

Not to mention, the team still has tokens they could dump someday.

Imo, this prevents $SHFL from becoming a quality defensive asset for now.

Better to sit on our hands and wait for further unlocks (post-September 2026) to see where it goes.
Imo, if you're looking for proper quality defensive assets, buy $XAUt / $BTC / $MKR.

If you want to buy promising tokens with supply overhang, go for $ENA / $HYPE.

Otherwise, just buy $AAVE / $PENDLE.
