Kamaru Usman explains in detail what rubbed him wrong about Dricus Du Plessis’ African champion narrative

"When you come in and there are three African kings already, why is your whole thought process not to be like, 'Man, I want to be the fourth African champion?' You chose to step into that limelight in the direction of, 'That guy and that guy don’t live here anymore. They’re not real African champs.' And that’s the only thing that rubbed me wrong. But I do think he’s a great guy. He’s a cool dude."
