The savvy investors/traders have developed great "feel" for price action that incorporates objectives.

Example: $SPX feels like it has an objective (once 5900 was realized) to get to 6000. And so it happened.

Now $NYA Common Stock Only A/D Line feels like it also has an objective; to achieve a new ATH.

These "feels" are real distinguishing performance factors for savvy investors/traders. 

I had previously stated to Finom Group investors/traders that I wouldn't discount the objective for SPX to achieve XXXXX near-term with a Zweig and deGraaf breadth thrust having triggered. And so here we are. 

The NYSE Common Stock Only A/D Line  ATH is an even greater achievement than the NYSE A/D Line ATH as it removes all the nonessential components of the NYSE from the calculation, including bond funds and international funds, which don't lend favorably to true equity breadth calculations. Sorry for the long-winded post, but hopefully this adds to your arsenal of technical insights and understandings.
