Together with East African Community Affairs PS, Dr. Caroline Karugu, we hosted Dr. Ernest Kan, the newly-appointed Singapore High Commissioner to the Republic of Kenya.

Singapore is exploring the possibility of a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the East Africa Community (EAC) to enhance trade and investment ties.

Dr. Kan briefed me on the upcoming Africa-Singapore Business Forum (ASBF) in August 2025.

I conveyed my best wishes on his tour of duty in our country.
