We’ve made a $50K OTC investment into @inference_labs, the team behind Subnet X – Omron on Bittensor.

Omron is solving a simple but hugely important problem: how do you know you can trust an AI model’s answer? Not just whether the answer is useful – but whether it came from the right model in the first place.

Omron makes sure you’re talking to the real thing.

The best way to explain it? It’s like SSL for AI.

When you log into your bank online, SSL ensures you’re actually connected to your actual bank – not a fake version. Omron does the same for AI. It gives you cryptographic proof that your answer came from the model you wanted, without anything being swapped or tampered with along the way.

Behind the scenes, Omron uses something called zero-knowledge machine learning (zkML) – which is just a clever way to verify an AI’s output without revealing the data or the model itself. That means users get trustworthy answers, and developers don’t have to give away their secrets. Everyone wins.

Omron is already live, running a model that helps predict how long liquid staking tokens will be locked up – useful for DeFi users managing their capital. It’s also fully integrated with Ethereum, with a smart contract that lets users deposit assets, earn points, and connect to platforms like Renzo and EigenLayer.

The team – led by @colingagich and Ronald Chan – is experienced, values-driven, and building with long-term vision. They believe AI should be open, provable, and trustworthy – not locked away in the hands of a few tech giants. So do we.

What’s coming next?

Omron’s roadmap includes...
...Supporting more advanced types of AI models
...Letting users ask their own custom questions
...Welcoming outside queries to grow real-world usage
...Expanding Ethereum integrations
...Rewarding models based on quality, not just volume

That last one is important. The better the model performs, the more it earns. It’s a system that encourages improvement – and helps the best models rise to the top.

At DSV, we invest in core infrastructure for the future of intelligence. Not trends, not buzzwords – real, useful systems. Omron is one of them, and we’re proud to back them early.

If you’re building foundational AI infrastructure on Bittensor, we want to hear from you.
