American is outraged that she has to spend $XXXXX on healthcare costs for her deductible before her insurance pays anything, despite paying every month for full health insurance

This is a scam

“I'm sorry. What's the point of health insurance if you have to pay full price until you meet a deductible? My deductible is $XXXXX. I have to spend $XXXXX in medical expenses before everything is taken care of. And there's no co pays, but yet I pay for that insurance. I pay $XXX a month for that insurance”

“What? I'm sorry. Make that make sense. That makes absolutely no sense in my head. I have to pay full price for all medical expenses, which every year I'm not going to spend. $6,000.”
