Every time I expected a pullback, price action simply clung to the next moving average and pushed higher. When we reached the XXX DMA at $88, I trimmed for the first time, thinking a pause was likely. Then came the Rhode acquisition and price exploded another 30%, right into the XX WMA. I trimmed a second time. The daily RSI is now at XX — deep into overbought territory. I’m not comfortable holding full exposure at these levels, so trimming and locking in some gains feels like the right move. I’m actively sharing this setup as it develops, including the decisions I make so we can later look back and evaluate it objectively. Right now, my zone of interest for accumulation sits between $XX and $XX. Discipline makes the difference between riding momentum and getting trapped by it. When we reached the XXX DMA at $88, I trimmed for the first time, thinking a pause was likely. Then came the Rhode acquisition and price exploded another 30%, right into the XX WMA. I trimmed a second time.
The daily RSI is now at XX — deep into overbought territory. I’m not comfortable holding full exposure at these levels, so trimming and locking in some gains feels like the right move.
